International Yoga Day, students of Baroda High School, Alkapuri (morning shift) engaged in various activities to celebrate the occasion. They performed different asanas and pranayama and even formed a human pyramid. A PowerPoint presentation conveyed the significance of yoga and pranayama to the students. Students from classes 3 to 8 actively participated in practicing various asanas.
\nWorld Music Day was also celebrated by the students. The celebrations included performances of a group song, a Gujarati folk song, and a Jugalbandi. The music teacher presented a song based on the raag ‘Mishrakaffi’.
