Baroda High School, Alkapuri (Afternoon Shift) has made a remarkable impact at Maker Fest 2025, held on 8th and 9th February at Maharaja Sayajirao University’s Technology Department. Competing against over 2,000 project entries, the school’s two innovative projects were among the 71 finalists and proudly secured
the Gold Award (1st Prize) in their respective categories.
🌟 In the Education Category, the teacher’s project “Indian Educational Toy House”, led by teacher Suparna Sinha, along with team members Usha Solanki, Sandhya Solanki, and Riddhi Narvekar, won the Gold Award (1st Prize). This project stood out for its unique approach to incorporating Indian philosophies into educational toy-making.
🌟 In the Software Category, the student’s’ project “Plant Disease Identifier”, led by student Mantra Patel(VIII) along with team members Elgin Felix (VIII) and Jal Kaka(VIII) also secured the Gold Award. This AI-driven innovation helps detect plant diseases .
